Wittmann Canada has announced the acquisition of the M-Tek blending and materials handling line from Mould-Tek as part of a continued global expansion to provide their customers worldwide with a complete auxiliary equipment solution. With the acquisition Wittmann is well positioned to increase their knowledge base and expertise to further develop a quality product and make it even better. “We will be able to develop the blenders and materials handling equipment further as part of our total auxiliary solution using our in-house controls capabilities.” notes Rob Miller, President, Wittmann Canada.
He goes on to state: “We have been a significant player in the systems market for many years but never had our own blenders to offer our customers. With our own blenders we now have a key piece that we were missing as a manufacturer and the ability to fully integrate the complete system using a single controls platform.” The M-Tek line of blenders offer true gravimetric blending (real time live scale), with exclusive pinch valve technology that precisely measures all materials for superior batch-tobatch consistency. The highly accurate blenders offer significant savings advantages in terms of colour and resin consumption because of the extremely accurate measurement.

Wittmann Canada will continue to fully service and support customers with existing Mould-Tek blenders and materials handling equipment through existing spare parts inventory.
